As a teacher, what difference am I personally trying to make?

Beliefs about Teachers:
Teachers; can make or break a child’s educational experience
Have everlasting impacts
Are key figures in a child’s development
Are very hardworking, it is probably one of the hardest jobs due to the multitude of variables acting internally and externally.
Teach more than curriculum
Are in charge of safety
Beliefs about Learning:
Accepting environments- inclusion is key
Everyone learns differently
Each student might not learn in the same way, but everyone can learn in some way
Learning needs to be flexible and accommodating
Mutual respect is key
Hierarchy of needs has to be met, essential to successful learning
Not all learning is good- you can learn bad habits too. You need to teach which learning is good, and which is bad.
